hEY pPL.....GOT 110 IN TOEFL-ibt

Finally, the wait was over...got a score of 110 in toefl-ibt.....I think thats a pretty enough for gettin me through B-schools in US.....
Believe me I haven't spent a single penny to get the resources and books for preparation....Internet is gr8 source to get whatever you want.... thus like thanks to all the people who are shared the material and helped me crack this exam....i have got all the material and is ready to share those materials.....anybody intrested can mail me(id is available)
Since I have named this blog as EXPERIENCE.....thus like to share some information and tips about the TOEFL exam

To start with, the resources I used and prepared with:

1) TOEFL Official Guide: bible for this exam and must...u cannot ignore it.... go through it... first understand the basic question types and what TOEFL exam asks for....I will suggest you to prepare small notes while reading to understand the question types and what examiners are looking for in answers(given quite clearly in the book)...but don't cram the material....just revise it and get the hold of various question types.

2)LONGMAN TOEFL: I think if you want to score high do all the questions available in the CD or atleast go through them....this CD is best for preparing for speaking section of the exam....To begin with, go through some of the sample answers given in theCD....look for the format and the way information has been arranged.(read specific instructions for speaking section down below).
I think in the listening section of the actual exam, the speed with which speaker's speak is slightly higher and sometimes accent is also slightly different from this CD.
the level of difficulty of reading and writing section is comparable or I should say almost same.
For Listening section refer to this next resource.....

3)KAPLAN TOEFL-ibt : Level of difficulty is slightly higher as compared to the actual exam....but again a great resourceful material.....one should practise atleast all the listening section of this CD.
thats it...this much material is more than enough to get a great score in the exam...rest leave it on your luck and God.....

Hi...whosoever is reading this blog...don't mind pls....becoz this is my first blog!!!!I don't what to write...so I thought blogs are suppossed to be written and if you want to write something u should write(bit confused)....

So I think I'll start with the movie I watched yesterday(18 Sep 2007)....Music & Lyrics(MnL in short) featuring Hugh Grant and Drew Berrymore(my favorite).The movie is about a musician(Hugh) who was once part of very famous and popular band called POP.....then again same old story some conflicts and one of the members backstabbing others, resulting in you know what just like spice girls....band got scattered.Hugh, famous for his tight pants and lively but touching music ,to earn his bread and butter ,started writing and singing his own solo albums and became quiet famous in late 30's and mid 40's married women.
I think I should introduce Drew now....she doesn't have any musical background and no formal training....neither she was part of any group.....except she used to write some poems and lyrics(which nobody recognise) in college and school days..Accidently,Hugh somehow got an offer from CORA( another beauty in the movie)....a singer by profession and is the latest taste of youngsters.Hugh was suppossed to write the lyrics for one of the songs for Cora.Cora also offered hugh to perform with her in the concert on the same song....oooh sorry....our main protoganist should meet the female counterpart....Drew ,in the movie, is working for Hugh and takes care of plants in his house....thats the way they meet(quite a boring meeting)...she was apponted there by Charlie(i suppose his name was).....assistant and friend of hugh.Hugh listened drew rhyming some music and idea came to him about the lyrics....he then offers drew to become partner in crime sorry in song.....means she will write the lyrics of the song and music will be given by hugh...then wat Cora ws supposed to do....I suppose she is shown to be singer and thus she will sing the song in the concert....After usual No....I can't write....drew finally agreed to write and help hugh to write lyrics of the song.....then drew wid diary and pen and hugh on piano(this piano also got role but I think u shulod see the movie to know more about piano)...back to song....somehow both managed to write the song and thy actually record it in CD for Cora in their own voices with piano in the bakground....
During this wrtitng and singing they started dating each other...yeah I knw that un know wat happen next in most hollywood movies....but Im not goin to explain dat......then due to some altercation on one of the topics they had a serious fight....den same devdas- paro story....but there is twist in this sory atleast..
in d end,hugh sings a very romantic and touching song for her sweetheart with the help of Cora in madisson square garden(wow I remmber the place also)....gr8....thn wat else....they lived happily everafter....THE END.....I don't knw wat made me write about this movie but really I wanted to start my blog so I thought I will start with some junk and then keep on improving my thoughts and writing of course....watch this space for next I think a meaningfull blog....
